Photo Friday

This happened here today. 



This isn't a lense flare, it's a sun dog--a halo of ice crystals around the sun's image that form a rainbow ring and a reflection of the sun itself at each axis. It was pretty amazing to see.

Love the Sun Dog. I actually commented earlier but it got lost. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful phenomenon of nature.
