Day 2

Today you get pictures! I hope you enjoy this James and Liz. By the time you come back, you should have a pretty good idea of how good a present you are to bring. He he.
We started the day with a good workout. Michael and April were the only kids to make it all the way through. We then went to the library where everyone checked out 3 books. Michael even got to buy one. Then they went out to play at the park. After about 30 minutes of park, we loaded up again and headed for the Sugar Maple Festival.
This was us waiting in line entirely too long. Kind of ruined the rest of it.
After learning of the early techniques used for making syrup, they each got a chance to try and drill a hole in the tree. (No, it isn't a live one, just a log upright in the ground.
This would be the only ones left at the end. Here they got to see how the syrup is made, and even try it. At this point, Michael and Jacob had freezing feet and opted for the car. (Michael still got a taste, don't worry.)

We finished off with a hearty meal of mac and cheese! All are now blissfully in bed. Tomorrow is the real test, church.
