Welcome to Zoology 101

Florida never ceases to amaze me.

This first picture is of a prehistoric fish called the Armored Catfish. I caught 3. This one being about 12" long. It has boney plates all over it body, hence the "armor". Petty weird looking.

This next creature is also on a Florida's endangered/protection list due to its habitat being destroyed by commercial and residential development. It is the Gopher Tortoise. I finally saw one on our nursery property. Below is just a very short HD video.
