What a Trip

Good Morning all from Mom and Dad in Virginia -
We are now home.  Mom slept for nearly eight hours and I am at work so we should be adjusting to the 12 hour time change.  Wanted to share a couple of pictures of our wonderful journey to China.  We are grateful to Justin for being with us.

OK, so I arrived in China three days before Mom and this is the view from my room in Shanghai
Saturday Morning Breakfast.  We ate breakfast at this shop every day, with and without Justin.  Simple, good food.
Beijing Noodles!  Nuf Said?!  Well, maybe not.  This restaurant is famous for their noodles and we were not disappointed.  Perhaps mom's favorite meal.
Have no idea who the young ladies are, there was a group of three and one took our picture.  What a great experience.
Another picture on the wall.  The peak in the background, yes we walked from there.
 Cooking class, dumplings, YUM!
Forbidden City. Boy is this a big place.  We were exhausted from all of the walking but would not have missed it.
Beijing Roast Duck.  No trip to Beijing is complete without enjoying Roast Duck.  This restaurant is considered one of the best, if not the absolute best in all of Beijing for Roast Duck.  Not us saying that, my Chinese colleague told us so.

We are glad to be home but already miss the experiences.  The time with Justin, the food, the smog, the people, all great experiences.
