Families that stay together Stay Together

The title of this post is in reference to an interesting phenomenon amongst the member families in Shanghai. The wives and children of the working men tend to go for extended visits to the United States during the summer, lasting between 6 weeks and a few months, without their husbands. The district presidency gave instruction that it shouldn't be so, that "families that stay together stay together."

I'm glad the Hutchings family thinks so too. I have surprisingly few pictures of the past week with all of us together. Here are a few.

We had fun staying up late talking...
and eating.
Hired a babysitter for the kids for one night...
to have an all-adult dinner.
We had fun! Thanks James and Liz for coming.

THis is one of the wisest and sweetest blogs I've ever read. We were glad to come; I hope you're enjoying the respite from the heat and chaos!
