Justin being the captain of our cookie making for the luncheon after my
nephew's priesthood ordination. He baked like a mad man!
They were simply too fascinated with his morning work out to resist joining in.
So grateful for the warmer spring days!
Dumping out the breakfast powder we add to her bottles.
One of those big open-mouthed baby kisses.

Snapshot Saturday

Hello all!  We made it safe and sound to Virginia.  We may have stayed in the best hotel ever on our way.  It was an old time share, so it had two bedrooms in addition to a living room and kitchen.  The only bad part was that they were out of cribs, so poor Simon slept on the floor of the closet with a chair blocking his way out.  He didn't like it at all, but he would have just crawled off a bed, so that wasn't going to work.  We survived and slept pretty well once Simon fell asleep.

Jacob does such a great job of being silly and playing with the little ones.  I love it!

Simon is enjoying exploring grandma's large house.  Jacob had fun following him around to make sure he was safe.

Fortunately, the screen in front of the fireplace is connected to the fireplace.  You may not be able to tell, but Simon knocked it over, and it would have landed on his head, but it just hung from its wires.  I love those wires!

So far we are having a great time!  The boys built a snowman and played in the snow. It is always fun to come and visit!

Exploring the depths of the cupboards while eating a cutie
with the skin on.

Our freak snow storm that lasted no more than one hour from
start to finish.

Making bread together. She loved watching it spin.

Ikea chip clips in the hair. A favorite.

Jaime's second dentist visit, ever. The first was a disaster. This one was a piece
of cake.

Vida's first dentist visit. She was scared to bits but let them do everything.

Enjoying a dentist office prize.

Reading Captain Underpants together. I guess Ava's not a fan?

A Welcome Photo Friday

I returned home late last night from a three-day trip to snowy Pennsylvania. My trip included driving 500 miles in sleet, snow, wind and rain. Lovely. I was just glad that my flight was not one of the 700+ canceled yesterday. In the upside of everything, I had the chance to visit with Brad and Shanda for breakfast, play some games, and celebrate the cancellation of school that day due to snow.

Well, on to the purpose of this post. This morning when I came in the office, I found a secret note left for me on my office white board by my wonderful ladies...

It is great to be loved.

This captures the way I feel after another foot of snow.  Sun is shining now but last week and yesterday, where or where is spring?
